This is a great little firelighter - a slow match which works beautifully. Pull on the little sphere at the top of the fuse, turn the striker wheel, and you get an ember on the top of the fuse. Simply pull on the fuse to extinguish. It's lit in one of these pictures, so the fuse is still fine.
