As I was getting ready to go out this morning the stopper of my Stainless Steel Sigg water bottle just pulled out. Whatever it is that allows it to screw up tight had just rusted through and came away. Now I know it is not a new piece of kit, and it is easy enough to get a replacement stopper, but that isn't the point. I hadn't expected that to happen, and if it had happened later on while I was out and about it would have been worse. Just where can you get quality these days? It's back to the old Platypus for now, not that Platypi are perfect either, as they are known to burst if you drop them when full.
