Yeah I have one of these things that's not really seen much use in the fifteen years or so I've had it, but I am considering putting it back into service, but before I do that I really do need to replace the inlet hose to need to know what material the ' stay flexy rubbery material ' the original hose is made from as am not paying MSR prices for a replacement and I know standard home brew syphon tube is too rigid and retains a positional memory.
In addition as when I used to use this thing I did so with is screwed onto a Nalgene Tritan wide mouth bottle, to need to ask is the thread used by Nalgene a standard thread across similar wide mouth bottles to include other make stainless steel bottles as I would be impressed to know I could use the Miniworks with a bottle I could use as a cooking vessel
Edited to remove ' dirty water hose' and replace with ' inlet hose '
