I'm sure I heard once that there's a difference in quality in zippos and it's to do with how many stripes it has on the bottom.
Is that right? You seem to be the right person to ask.

i have this one,

My wife bought it for me for our first wedding anniversary.

only have one and only cause i found it in the Father in laws garage when we cleared it out last year

was engraved to celebrate singer sewing machines centenary 1851 to 1951

its 60 yrs old this year

and still fine with a fill up

Wow!!! Martin you have the collection I have been aiming for!!!
I only have 3 "real" zippos in my collection so far... oh and a collecters hand book which is good!
I feel a little ashamed of my collection now, if I can even call it that anymore!
