Show us your pre and post campfire cleanup photos, what is your process for cleaning your fire scares?

Below is a site I regularly use and follow the same process each time I leave.

There's no real water source so I carry in the water I need to leave the site safe.

Clearing up after and leaving the site as you found it - or better, is such an important part of fire craft IMO and one often overlooked.

Unfortunately the sites we use have static fireplaces so rarely practice clean up to this level. i always make sure the fire is out and cold to touch and stack firewood neatly as so on. I will take some before and after pics if i go anywhere different though.

Most of the time when i go out we go to the same static location with a permanent fire place so showing photos of clean up is limited.
This weekend however, we went somewhere different. another local woods is owned by the council and run by volunteers.
they organised an open day for the local community and asked us to have a stall there.
We offered people the chance at fire lighting and making ash cakes.
we also kept the tea stall going with hot water as the boiler and generator system they were trying to use didn't work very well.
the local volunteers cleared the bracken for our area.
As is always the case when you're busy the last thing you think about is taking photos. We were very busy so i only got a couple after the public left.
this is the site prior to clean up and then after the fire is extinguished and cleaned up.
