Can anybody give me any idea which is the best bivi on the market im not planning on spending hundreds and have been told that the Vaude bivi is a good one thanks Dean
 
You can't really go wrong with an army bivvy, either the UK or US ones. these are a good price (but it is creeping up each week so be quick) ..

If you want a bit more luxury then look at a hooped version, lots to choose from but they start to get expensive. I have a Terra Nova Saturn which has two loops, plenty of room for kit and enough wriggle room to get undressed etc, spendy though

just took delivery today of that US bivvy you gave a link to, what a bargain. mine came and it was new not a mark on it. Just ordered a second one for my bruv and it has gone up by a fiver already, but still a bargain.
