I'm ok when it comes to sharpening something with a scandy grind as I can easily tell what angle to hold the blade at when using the whetstones. Trouble is when I come to sharpen my SAK, coz it ain't got a Scandinavia grind I don't know or can't tell if I'm holding it at the right angle.
Is there an easy way to tell what angle to hold it at ?

Tiny triangular from Staples or the like. A big round one gives too steep an angle.

Using paper clips, a few sizes of bulldog clips (traingle and round), you have a set of honing guides that keep a consistent angle. The distance from the spine to the cutting edge does vary the angle by knife
