Nah... just the opening croaky first line makes my skin crawl....
but each to their own! 
I can't remember which comic did a sketch, back when CD's had just came out, where a salesman is try to get him to buy a CD player and home entertainment system.
"Sir, it's like having the band in your living room!"
"I like the Pogues, so no thank you".

Not just an artist who changed the course of music but actually an accomplished singer. Songs like Irish Rover, The Auld Triangle and Fairytale of New York City have a wide melodic span between the highest and the lowest notes so you need good vocal range,which of course Shane McGowan had.
Man I loved The Pogues. To be honest i was surprised McGowan lived as long as he did given his life style. R.I.P
I wonder how much more he could have achieved if he had gone down a different path
