Shampoo

My wife is allergic to everything she somes into contact with, shampoo seems to be the worst, can anyone point me in the direction of organic shampoo nettle or similar, or have a reciepe or tips on natural products??

I suggest making your own shampoo bars and soaps. I have sent some that I make to members here with similar allergy problems and none have suffered any problems at all.

I have had exceptionally good results with a pure olive oil soap on people with allergies.

I have none to hand or I would send you some. However I have posted a tutorial on soap making in the past so its on here somewhere - its very easy

Have a look at these sites, I stopped using shampoo and only use natural soap now.

I buy it from a local health food shop, but I'm sure Holland and Barratt do natural soap too.

It pays to read the label because they're not always that natural or chemical free!

Your best avoing stuff with Parabens and Sodium Laureth Sulphate (engine degreaser!) in them.

Hi There, thanks very much for this, have let the wife know, she said she avoids sls but never knew about parabens, i muc h apprecaite your help, she asked if you know of any washing stuff for clothes??
