Inspired by what I saw on these forum and following Greenpetes excellent tutorial I've (almost) finished a second knife.
It's based on that well know blade shape, is 3mm 01 steel from Phoenix Steels Sheffield, I heat treated it in a home made forge in the back garden & in the kitchen stove. The handle is Delrin held in place with epoxy and brass pins.

That looks like it should be a nice knife when you have finished it and have it all polished up. I guess you will be starting on knife NO 3 soon. :D

I've really enjoyed it so far...
If you don't mind taking your time, hand tools will do the job. Id've liked a belt sander but I didn't have one..
Planning a skean dhu type next..
