i was fishing in a deep part of the river taff yesturday...
a adult sea gul swooped down and submerged himself totally in the water, splashing. he came up and trickled a small fish down his throat (it was probably a chub). it was cool to watch, i guess most of the time they are far out at sea fishing like this.
also i saw tiny winy worms in a river rock pool - they were very active until i touched them, then they were playing dead. anyone know the name of these worms? could they be dragon fly larvae?
