Scout Woggle Request

Hello Gents and Ladies.
Wondering if anyone can give me directions on how to carve a fairly basic wolf head with a little detail onto a wooden Scout Woggle (which is still a piece of wood ).
Pics of existing pieces welcome.

Pyrography may be easier. Then you can draw the design on with a pencil first.

Ah, not so sure about that level of skill but I do have a whittling knife in the shape of a Mora that I make my Wood spirits with.Also I dont own one of those kits.
