Ive been the last few times Magikelly, and its pretty crap unless you are into caravans! The best thing there was the wall you climb with ice axes and crampons, and some nice boats if you are a millionaire!

Yes I went a couple of years ago and it was ok. If you are looking for a new caravan or boat its fine, but I doubt if there will be anything that useful for us bushcrafters.
I was dissapointed at the lack of useful gadgets.

Yes last year did seam to have less gadgets than normal. There was a good display of open canoes though.

Probably take the kids for a day out anyway. Let them destuction test a few of the caravans, as kids do.
