I very rarely go out on a weekend, but I had a phone call from a friend (Glen) on Saturday morning to say he was up from Devon
but had to go back Sunday and did I fancy showing him anywhere.
So taking the chance that Scale Moor SD 71965 77180 should be quite we parked at the end of Kingsdale with quite a few cars about
and trippers on the Ingleton water falls walk, even an ice cream van on the Twissleton scar bridalway. But once up onto Ewes Top Moss we had it to ourselves

Looking at Inglebourgh from same spot

We then walked between some of the cairns along the front of the ridge
here's Glen and Bob with the cairn on Harry Hallam Moss showing on the other side of the valley

This is an enlargement from the above photo showing the crocodile of Grockles making their way up Inglebourgh at one point
we counted over 75 in a line.It must have been like Blackpool front at the top I hate to think what it'll be like Bank holiday weekend ?

We had a couple of brews and peace and quite lots of Skylarks but no singing
and only the odd Crow call all in all a great day
just thought I'd share cheers all Danny

Thanks Dan. I've really missed Teddy Tours. Great pics
Crowe

Teddy was in the haversack and came out for the dinner stop cornbeef and onion home made bread and bottle of South African Shiraz.
We go out most fine days, but I thought I'd give the Tour reports a rest in case they were clogging up "out and about"

in fact the last couple of tours I haven't taken the camera.
I think we'll do an overnighter in the Lime Kiln which might make it a bit different
cheers Danny
