Saw my first Stag yesterday

I was tramping around Kingley Vale early yesterday morning and saw my first wild stag! I could hear them grunting (poor hinds!) so sat still for about half an hour but they didn't come any closer. I evetually gave up and after walking on for 5 minutes, a stag wandered across the path in front of me! He was totally relaxed - took one look at me and wandered off!

Really chuffed to see one - made my ticker beat faster for a bit!

lucky you, I was out hunting once in oxforshire and while we were walking down a forest path there was a big field with a herd of red deer in and one jumped out onto the path right infront of us. also a few storks flew over head.

(we were only after rabbits of course)
