Windrush is a roomy 15.5 ft long Gunter Rigged, Whisstock designed Yawl constructed of marine ply and mahogany epoxy. Although her hull was built in 2000 she wasnt fitted out with her spars and sails until 2007 so she was then in effect new. She has a painted red hull all other areas are varnished apart from floor boards which are cream. She has a lifting metal centre plate, many bronze and brass fittings and built in buoyancy compartments. She comes with all gear ready to sail including a Wykham Martin Roller Reefing system on the Jib. Her hull has just been repainted and she has a serviced 4hp Mercury Outboard. Being a Yawl she would be a good beginners boat with a family as when it blows up quickly one can just drop the main and have a leisurely sail home on the jib & Mizzen.
