That's fantastic work! What do you use for darkening the horn. Is it the same as kolrosing? (I think that's how its spelt...)

i use whale tallow soot which is the traditional soot used in marine scrimshaw i suppose the saami used reigndeer tallow?,i found a box of whale tallow candles at the local recycling centre must have been early 1900,s and when they run out have a load of beef tallow candles.
