where I live deer are so numerous they have become a pest.....I see more deer and hares than rabbits a friend said his brother was going out to shoot some deer asked if he would sell me one....yesterday picked up.a nice heavy roe for £40 now all cut up and in the freezer .....a lot cheaper than the lamb I was going to buy

I was driving home along the M62 and M180 yesterday and saw loads and loads of deer in the surrounding fields. It struck me as very unusual to see so many.

muntjac very common here plus we have roe red and fallow
