Rocket pesto

Our allotment rocket is really good, very peppery, so I wondered what it would be like in a pesto.
whizzed up some garlic, olive oil, salt and pepper and a small handful of rocket, it was excellent, a distinctive peppery tang to it.
Well worth a try if you grow your own.

A suggestion for you; next time, try it with some broken walnuts and some hard cheese stirred in after the whizzing - I do this with my pesto of various sorts and it's really worth a try

We just had it with spaghetti and a green salad, a really clean healthy meal.
