Rob Bayley DB Knife... Progress Thread

I'm sure its functional Jon and if you say its comfortable, I believe you. To *me* it doesn't have soul or aesthetics of the giraffe bone or some nice wood though. I do understand the practicaility - I keep a plastic handled, kydex sheath knife for messy jobs where I want to hot wash the lot.

I think that's why I like Robs compact designs so much. It's because they differ so much from my regular knives. His regular Raven and Saxon models have a more organic rounded handle and look great in woods and antler/ bone etc. There is something very military, sturdy and bombproof about the compact designs though.
