it isn't rare but it is £76 on the woodlore site.

:lmao: I had to laugh when I read that comment in the title. I like his comment as well that the axe will gain in value over time same as an RM knife :rolleyes:

As for the axe itself Sam (MoT) has one and he let me have a play with it and it's a nice little axe, ideal for backpacking and general camp chores.

So whats the steel section by the head because on yhe Woodlore site its a plain haft and no collar.

no they don't dude, look at the link I posted. it's an added protection as it's designed as a splitting axe so would in theory the poll would come into contact with the wood more often.

They are lovely axes, it's down to what you want to spend i think matey, an axe will cut like another if the bits are the same so it comes down to looks in the end, I like em, that's why I got them.
