I altered this hammer for my Dad as a riveting hammer. - the thinner head is slightly longer than the normal ball pein so he should be able to get into awkward places a bit easier.

just a regular old ball pein with after a bit of bashing.
I made the handle from a piece of plum. It looks really nice in the flesh.

Looks good, should be a good bit of weight behind it as well.
I picked up a cobblers hammer on Saturday at a boot market £2.50, been looking a few weeks, now all it needs is a new handle and a polish.
