As you bought it for yourself, I'd take it out a few times and use it for the tasks you bought it for. The problem is that reviewing new kit is often very hard as you haven't got used to using it.
I'd get used to it and then put it through the same chores that you put your last blade through. Then do a comparison between the two and share how you like the new one over the old one and for what reasons and do the same in reverse if you like the old blade better in some areas. From the look of your new blade, it's a good one and will perform very well for you.
