Hi all

Looking to pick the collective brain with a notion I have.

Problem: Want a full length centre zip down sleeping bag that will go down to about -7 to -12, but can't find one online

Solution: Buy a centre zip bag and re-stuff with down

Concern: Can't sew, don't know if it can be done.

Anyone done something similar, or know someone that can? Or would I be better off getting one custom made and from where.

Cheers guys

Shewie

For hammock use a top quilt is way easier (combined with an underquilt or mat.)

What he said, a centre opening is handy but if your splashing out for new bag I'd go with quilts for the hammock, bottom fill on a sleeping bag is wasted insulation when it's underneath you with a hammock
