Result!

Mors book Bush Arts, i've been after this book for years but have always refused to pay the silly money being asked.

By chance I saw this copy on Abebooks for £7.00 delivered from a seller in Nevada, it was offered as an ex library copy, the book turned up today and it's like new, no library stamps or marks, the pages are crisp even on the corners, looks like it's never been read.

Yep, deffo a result - happy chappy.

Interesting! Good find!

In Scandinavia doing stuff like that is very popular, sold in local crafts shops. together with home woven, home knitted, sewn etc stuff.

I wonder what the receipe for the Moose Bisquit is?

1: Catch a moose
2: Skin him
3: Debone, salt and pepper
4: Place grilled moose between two generous slices of Rye bread
5: Eat with pickles.

Beer or a nice Barolo goes well with it..

Anybody has watched 'The Wild Chef' on Netflix?

It is a Quebecois chef doing all sorts of heart attack inducing food.

Oh very good :D Excellent find, especially at that price

aye, the cheapest i had found it up till now was £45.00, when i saw this one it was a no brainer, even if the book had been in a right state the info within is still sound.

Moose leave piles and piles of biscuits. Nuggets from the swamp donkey.

Cow Parsnip = Heracleum lanatum Tall, single hollow stem. Got any of this one?
It is important to distinguish young specimens from the Douglas' Water Hemlock = Cicuta douglasii
which is so toxic, it is used here in BC as an arrow poison.

abeBooks is certainly a budget saver. Some 600+ booksellers.

There's a certain scene from Monty Python's 'Life of Brian' that springs to mind as to how I feel about you scoring this book Mark...

Due to it being a family forum I shall refrain from posting a link
