Rehung little axe!

Yo!


I rehung this little axe head that I refurbished and modified. I did hang the old handle on it a while back but it worked loose due to a lazy bodge job/lack of decent wedge..


Anywhoo! I bought a cheap wedge and some metal wedges off eBay and they arrived this morning. So I finally got this little guy all done!


Isn't he a cutey!?






It really is little, and lightweight! I gave it the rudimentary sharpen until it pops arm hairs and I zazzed up the plain handle with a little bLow torch action, some linseed oil and a nice rub down of bees wax for grip and to lock in them oils!


I really like it. What do you guys reckon?

This is the smallest axe I've ever had, just weighed it and its 500 grams. Itll do just fine at mucking through kindling.
