Hi all, as of Wednesday I am unemployed due to redundancy, Until I find a new job I would really like to get some training/qualifications in traditional woodland crafts/skills (as I'd like to eventually move into a job more woodland orientated) and was hoping some of you wonderful people might know some courses or people that might be able to give some advice etc reasonable near to my location.
I live right on the Wales/ England border in Radnorshire and have found some courses in Hereford that i'm looking into, but I'm sure there is probably more options that I've missed!

Any help that you can give would be really appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Jon

P.S Mods if this is in the wrong section please feel free to move it!

NPTC chainsaw certificates will help if you wish to go down the coppicing route - a traditional practice that is steadily on the rise. Other formal qualifications may include forestry and arboriculture, countryside managent etc. More speacilised courses im unfamiliar with but no doubt others will inform of them.
