I'm sorry to say I've seen several old beet hooks and mangle knives go in the scrap over the years, oh how I wish I'd kept them all.

Sussed it! The photo of the beet knife on the makers website is wrong, the blade should be curved....

What import duty did they hit you with Steve?

They charged, I think $15 for shipping, and it 'slipped through' the net as far as duty goes.

I know someone else who got one & 'was the same.

Yes Red you are right, same calaloge number for both 6 quid difference in price.......

I think I'll buy the more expensive one....or not!.....
