ha! thanks paul, the mythology of the green man and the later woodspirits makes interesting reading, i find it fascinating.

Just been doing some reading myself. I knew they were a pagan diety as such, but never knew thats where the saying "knock on wood" came from...clever stuff! The history dates back to the ancient greeks! interesting stuff...
