Just got round to getting this done yesterday, I've been meaning to re handle my EDC Since I completed my last knife, finally found the time yesterday, now I've never re handled a knife before and I had some curly Birch left so I thought I would give it a bash. The knife is a SAK copy that belonged to my Grandfather, it was given to me some years ago and seeing as one of the plastic scales had split I thought that I would give it re vamp with curly Birch.
I think it looks a load better, I am sure my Grandfather would like it.

That is beautiful!
I am thinking of doing the same to one of my SAKs that got attacked by DEET.
Now to choose my wood!

Thanks guys,
John, that Deet stuff is scary stuff, melted the plastic on my mobile phone once.

The scales were made from the left over wood from my second knife, I cut them to size and thickness, I actually made them abit thicker than the original ones for a better fit for my hand, then sanded down to 1200 grit, oiled then bees waxed.
