Radar SAS smock,anygood.

Anyone tried the Radar SAS smock. www.radarclothing.com

Never heard of them myself but i came across their site this evening when i mooching about.

I used to deal with Radar many moons ago, a good company. The smocks are not bad at all, although have,nt seen what coming off their production line for about ten years.

Well i figured just about everyone wants an Olive drab SAS smock and these folks make em.

You're right, they do and on offer of £75 til June. The Hydroram system was considered a good cheap alternative to Gore Tex in the late 80's, but I hadn't heard of them since, but according to this site, they are still going. They quote their stuff as 100% waterproof, so I guess it's the breathability that might be a bit less than gore, yet maybe not. Could be worth a punt..
