That's not what it's called in my book... But some knots have multiple names. This particular one has a breaking strength of 70% and doesn't slip even a millimetre under load.
would have said a figure 8 on a bight but i don't think it is.

6 looks like a guyline hitch , but lots better.
now you have to do video instructables on how to tie them and where they are best used lol
