Off into France during August approx. 6th - 16th. I know this is the busiest period but have limited options with other-half being a teacher.
We'd love to do some canoeing or kayaking.
Anyone suggest any areas we might find some relaxed stretches of water (max grade 2) that're unlikely to be "Ardeche busy" at that time of year?
I was looking towards the Ardeche region but generally getting the impression that the river's mad-full at that time and the camping also seems to be priced higher than my other experiences in France.
