Quiet night camping

My friend and I had our usual camping session and as always had a lovely night.

Off out tomorrow night for a few days too.

Just realised I spelt this thread title rather badly. serves m,e right for making a thread before my cuppa tea and toast. Just pretend it says "quick"

Was my friend, and he was using a v in the tree to hold in place a branch to split. No live trees were harmed in the making of these photos

Lol - I thought he was attacking it with an adze or something, the light off the headtorch makes it look as though the bark is off.

my poor photography skills coming through there I think. Will take my proper camera tomorrow and get some proper shots for you. he does have some strange ways of doing things.

Looks like a good night. I have been a total wimp this year, hardly camped out all winter (think its somehing to do with getting a stinking cold three times since november). Roll on summer!!!!!!
