Quick and dirty match case

If you (or anyone you know) get contact lenses from Specsavers, they send out a replacement lens container every three months:

These are just about the right size for small friction matches (swan, for example). There's a little plastic square that has to be hacked out of the lid, and they aren't completely waterproof without the addition of a washer (a piece of bike inner tube in this case). This took me about 2 minutes to make:

A bit - there's about 5mm of loose space with these swan matches, and the case itself is hard plastic. Some experimentation and fiddling might help - a little bit of sponge or something. The sides of the container are straight rather than tapered, so it's not too bad.

A piece of cotton wool will stop things rattling and also serve as tinder if neccesary.
