Original bottom entry to which I quickly added zips to the bug net. Would buy a HH again but with zips from new.

I had one a Classic one a few years ago. ATM I've got a Blackbird, but if I had to buy a HH again, I'd go for one with zips.

the Velcro entry was a bit awkward at times, so Matt at UK Hammocks modded it with a side zip, much better, now it takes a full size underquilt too!

I have the deluxe asym zipped expedition it's a lovely bit of kit. I use rapelling rings and a carabina for super fast set up. And snake skins are brilliant.

Classic for me, no problem for normal hanging, a little bit awkward when I use the Handy Hammock stand as it low to the ground

I have a classic expedition deluxe.used the velcro entry for a year or two then matt at UK hammocks put a zip in it.best thing I ever did.

If you're thinking about a side zip why not get a Blackbird instead? A flatter lay with the footbox and the added benefit of the shelf for storage.

I like the Hennessy system with SuperShelter etc.

That looks brilliant. I have the explorer delux and the rope is quite thick would it still work?

It's an old climbing technique, I've used on 14mm ropes while working on trees.
You don't actually *need* the rings, two karabiners will work. It's just smoother with rings.
