Hi Folks
just got a nice big parcel from a mate in NZ, Amongst other things was a Svord peasant knife and his old NZ Defence wool combat jacket in DPM. I say old but it's not been worn and in my size, the embarrasing XOS (eXtra Out Size I believe). It's not made by Swanndri but by Tracey MNFG LTD, the quality looks damn good anyway (my only quibble is theres only a single line of stitching on the zip, but then there's a proper buttoned storm flap over the top so thats no biggy.
I'd been threateing to get a Mosgiel for a while but this will do nicely. The only problem with it is that there are no hand pockets.
How easy would it be to put in a pair of pockets and can anyone recomend a tailor to do it? I'm not bad at sewing but for this one I wouldn't risk it.
Cheers!
Tom
I've some Swandri wool cloth some no materials would have to be sourced
