6. DESCRIPTION: Classic forged rhombic Puronvarsi puukko blade.

Set in a Moose bolster with alternating Birch Bark and White Vulc Fibre spacers.

The stunning Curly Birch is called 'Extreme' grade by the supplier and as you'll see has some fantastic activity going on.

I opted for a simple yet sturdy taco style sheath in 3.5mm veg tan, for a more universal and durable option.

NB. Slight cosmetic blem on the loop side of sheath where I coughed during running the overstiched wheel down the stitches.

Received it today, love it! The grain on the handle is beautiful and I’ve come round to the sheath. In the images here, you don’t see the nice swell that the extra bit of welt gives it, around where the handle is. I was thinking to try my hand at a Nordic style sheath, but after seeing it, I’m not so bothered about one now. A lovely bit of work. Thanks!
