Professional knife sharpening service. Advice please.

I'm trying to find a reliable and competent professional knife sharpener to give my Cold Steel SRK a look. I have posted before, so I apologise for repeating myself. I've been unable to contact the person suggested to me.
Any advice on a professional service would be very welcome.

Pop into BritishBlades. I've a feeling I know who you were recommended, but he's not been about so much recently. Plenty of other people there. Not professional (where's the money in sharpening?), but highly competent folk.

I'll do it for you.

I do plenty of knife and tool sharpening and restorations for a living and regularly hone cut throat razors up to 12,000 grit. Been doing it for years so if you're interested send me a pm for details.

Unless it needs a full regrind or a profile job, a competant individual should be able to do it for much less than the 'professionals' who charge £30 to a similar standard.
