Hi Tengu,

If you search on line for mono lazer printer you will get one for c£70 or less.

They will print up to 4,000 A4 pages and the cartridge can be refilled for about £25 a go.

I have refilled a cartridge 4 times with no loss of quality.

They are now doing colour lazer printers for about the same cost tho it will be cheaper to replace the lot rather than the colour cartridge's when they run out.

I suppose what I'm saying is its more cost effective to to buy new and get the ink/toner in the deal than buy/trade for a used one and have the cost of the inks.

Cheers

Will keep you in mind providing your not desperate. My customers are always slinging them in a skip.
Will keep an eye out at my local market too. Postage costs might mate it not worth the cash though...
Flea markets your best bet just make sure they demo it working and you research the ink/toner costs before buying.

Got an almost new samsung desktop laser printer. Needs a cartrige (about £25 for a recycled one) . Laser printers last for about 5000 documents depending on what you are doing. A lot cheaper than running an inkjet.

interested?

Tengu by the time you have paid postage on swap items you might as well go for something like

http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/9371424/Trail/searchtext>EPSON+PRINTER.htm

£27, printer and scanner, uses individual inks and the compatible are cheap as chips on ebay, three full set for

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/12-Printe...pplies_Stationery_ET&var=&hash=item27c7bb2b49

Not as cheap as a laser but not expensive by any means and you can print nice photo's. I've got the SX435W, all in one wireless and its a cracker for only £45.
