Preserving Pan Spoon

My mum wanted a bigger spoon to use in her preserving pan, so i made this simple spoon up for her from a big lump of Ash

The bowl of the spoon is longer than you might normally have so you can get a good stir going in the pan, even though the spoon looks sanded, it's not, it's finished off the knife and then with cabinet scrapers, and when shes not using it for making chutneys, jams and jellies, i can use it as a canoe paddle :)

To give you an idea of size, the knife is roughly the size of a Mora 510

nice job Kepis and a great finish with the scrapers. That's a nice knife too - is that the one you made recently?

@KJ - ceretainly is, works a treat, very comnfortable, the blade is wickedly sharp and keeps a good edge too.
