My mum wanted a bigger spoon to use in her preserving pan, so i made this simple spoon up for her from a big lump of Ash
The bowl of the spoon is longer than you might normally have so you can get a good stir going in the pan, even though the spoon looks sanded, it's not, it's finished off the knife and then with cabinet scrapers, and when shes not using it for making chutneys, jams and jellies, i can use it as a canoe paddle
