Pre-Mac purifier longivity?

Eyup folks, as you'll have gathered, been going through my gear. Came across my Pre Mac travel well mini. Its been buried for???? Say 6years. Im just curious to if anyone is clued up to the safe longivity of these.... Before i have to try email them. Stored dry after only acouple of uses.

id have thought it would be good to use. why not put some of that cider you have in the fridge through it and see if it makes it drinkable?
