I’ve used the Ryobi one for a few years now. With a couple of 5.0ah batteries it works really well for longer trips, a bit cumbersome though so definitely not backpacking trip kit.

Although a cheap option if you’ve already got tools I think either a decent power bank if you’re going lightweight, or for a small power station if you’re not concerned with bulk are better options to be honest.

The most awkward thing about it is when the batteries run out how are you charging them.

This is the problem which is why I've bought the unit mentioned in the OP with 240 option, still not received it yet so don't know how well it will perform, been advised in this thread that it won't be as good as I hoped but it might have it's uses.

Is that unit supposed to charge via 240 as well? Seems a bit pointless as you could just take a charger with you. Or am I missing something? :dunno:

You need to convert everything to 'power' = Watts = Volts x Amps, then see if the device gives you what you want/need. A lead acid vehicle battery is typically 75 to 100Ah. So at 12v a 100Ah battery will give you 1,200wh - that will run a 60w mains load for a theoretical 20 hours; inefficiencies will reduce that to nearer 15 probably.

Taking Stew's point, a typical power bank is around 20Ah, but that's only at 5v, so only give 100wh.

Convert everything to power, then compare :)

Although it does depend on the power bank.

I have a couple of power-banks that have a 12V output (with the standard 12V co-ax style socket so can drive devices directly, NOT the automotive type plug/socket). Bought them for running things like my magnifying lamp and e-spinner. They are a bit unusual- although they are available via Amazon.
