hey, i was out for a walk with the nephew today and we came across some dried out poppys in the bushline, so picked them and tipped out all the seeds.

does anyone use these in cooking etc or are they pretty much useless?

i would like an idea as to if they are like the poppy seeds we buy or are they only good for planting lol

cheers

Sprinkle on bread/cakes/pastries. You can grind them and mix with water and a little milk to make a paste to spread on toast (a bit like tahini I suppose). Put in salads, salad dressings, mixed with olive oil or honey....They don't need to be roasted but this can help if you want to grind them up
