Apologies if this has been discussed elsewhere before, but I did a forum search and didn't really come up with anything.

My Montane Extreme smock has acquired a pea sized rip in the sleeve and I'm wondering what would be the best method of giving it a long lasting repair?

The best advice I can currently find is to use McNetts Seamgrip or Tenacious Tape, does anyone have any experience repairing their jackets with this? Or does anyone have any alternatives?

Thanks in advance.

Tenacious Tape is good stuff. I use it on everything from tarps to waders and it does the job.

Epoxy resin also works well. I've used it to repair small pin size burn holes in my Montane smock.

How did you get on with that repair?

I came off my MTB the other day and have a nice wee hole where it rubbed through and was wondering how to repair it.
