wasn't sure where this should be posted as there doesn't appear to be a first aid section - from one of the US survival forums I found this mention.

Wow, I never knew pepper was as powerful at healing as people say it is.
That stuff should be on the NHS, works wonders with heart attacks. On the site I went on someones heart even started beating again after they 'died' but they were brought back by a dose of cayenne pepper!
