Very interested. How heavy is it? Just I'm wanting to canoe with an 8 year old so solo portage really !!

Hi, it weighs 37kg. Me and my son carry this no problem, he is 11. I can put it on the car on my own. To be honest it's not the weight it's the size and shape which makes it awkward. For an extra £30 I can throw in a canoe trolly and life jacket that will fit your son

you need and excuse to get a roof rack, if you got a canoe you can justify getting a roof rack to SWMBO
