not the best for a whppy choppy knife tho as it will rub abd blister your hands badly with extended use parangs have a smooth ish finish for no hot spots and a big lump on the end to stop it coming out

I tend to wear a glove most ov the time' wen in pine forests' using cuttin tools' hands get all sticky with the resin.. but i know wot u mean
