Stormdrane's blog is dangerous... :)

My new supply of paracord (still not the good stuff though) and some curved side release clips arrived from eBay this morning so I decided to put a new strap on my favourite watch:

It's made of two continuous pieces of paracord, and although all the ends are sealed the whole thing can be undone if needs be. I'd guess each length is about 1 metre. I love the two tone, and I'm going to be buying more colours instead of just OD in the future.

that is really good - the paracords ok as well :)

the only problem I see is if you need the cord then where do you stick your watch?

Thanks. It'll go in a pocket until I can make another one!

looks sweet. how is it to wear? the buckle seems a little chunky for comfort to me.

It is a bit chunky, but it's been fine to wear so far.

Well here is my first effort at a paracord watch strap.
And I'm pretty pleased.. Its a lot more comfortable than the leather strap that came with the watch.
