Hello, Seen a Ozark trail self inflating camping mat today and just wondering if anyone has used it- if so is it any good? :)
I use a 3 season foam multimat at the moment which i like but if the self inflating is better i will purchase it :D

Thank you

hi been, i have not used that paticular matt, but have used many self inflating matt's and i would go for that over a multi matt any day of the week.
hope that helps mate.

Check out it's weight against some others before you buy, Ozark trail is a budget brand, you might find someone like Alpkit better value in the long run.
Self inflating mats have come on a long way in the last few years

Will have a look at the weight when i go to buy it, but to be honest it didn't feel much heavier than my closed cell mat. It will not be put to much hard use but if it gives me a better nights sleep i dont mind the extra weight :D

Thank you :)

Im going to give the mat a go and see what its like i think :)

Alpkit look great but im not out overnight enough to justify the cost at the moment, closed cell foam mat works fine to me but extra comfort is always welcome so i thought id give it a try:D

Thank you for the replies :)
